I'm Not Your Puppet

Whoa, a picture that's not creepypasta?  From Irken?  What?

So I'm in college, right, and I'm taking this class on French Feminism.  We get to the final exam, and the professor says, "We'll have a creative final project.  As long as it shows adequate effort and explanation, I will count it."

So I do this thing.

Basic idea behind this piece is that of a woman cutting the 'threads' of patriarchical society and passing through the threshold into an equal society.  I made the scissors pink to communicate the idea of gender differentiation as a strength, which is pretty prevalent in French feminism, the circle is a yonic symbol, the arch reads "Je me lève avec mes soeurs", which means "I stand with my sisters", blah blah blah...

Also don't worry, the nudity is from the back, so there's no boobs.  Just a butt.
